AI did not break recruitment

Recruitment was already drifting from judgement, representation and verification towards workflow, throughput and data capture. AI can help when it removes admin. It becomes dangerous when it scales bad incentives and replaces judgement while preserving the price of judgement.

Recruitment was already platformised

Search, distribution, scheduling, storage and matching became cheaper, but fee bands and candidate treatment did not always improve with them.

Candidate experience had already decayed

Too much recruitment became data capture, thin screening and silence. AI did not invent that; it can simply scale it.

AI can help admin

Tools may support administration, formatting, consistency checks, scheduling and workflow.

AI must not become black-box suitability judgement

HumanVerified.cv does not use black-box automation to score, rank, interview or reject candidates. Transparency, meaningful human involvement and fairness matter.
